Common questions
How does gum know which set I'm at?
When you tell gum you're dancing, it combines your device's location with the stage boundaries and the published set times for that event to work out which artist you're in front of. If it can't be confident, it asks you rather than guessing. You can decline location access and still browse events, schedules and your library.
Do I have to share my location all the time?
No. gum asks for your location at the moment you log a set. There is no continuous background tracking.
An artist card has the wrong information.
Tell us at contact@passthatgum.com with the artist name and what's wrong. Artists and their representatives can request corrections to their own card at any time, and we act on those first.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. gum is for people aged 18 and over.
Is gum on the App Store and Google Play?
Not yet. gum runs today as a web app, which you can add to your home screen. Native iOS and Android apps are in development.
